as Pastor of Jones Grove Missionary Baptist Church

After 41 years, Jones Grove welcomes a new Pastor, Rev. Tremaine D. Royster.  Rev. Royster comes to us from First Baptist Church of Chapel Hill, NC under the leadership of Rev. Rodney Coleman.   He previously served as Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church of Selma, NC.

Rev. Royster is married to Enjoli Lucier Royster and is the father of Miss Genesis Selah Royster.   The family resides in Chapel Hill, NC.

Deacon Louis Watkins presents Rev. Tremaine D. Royster with a gift from Dr. Rodney & Lady Kristal Coleman of First Baptist Church of Chapel Hill wishing him well on becoming Pastor of Jones Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Royster began his 1st sermon as Pastor of Jones Grove by taking his text from 2 Chronicles 7th Chapter with emphasis on the 14th verse, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."   With his high-spirited message, he ended with the Spirit of the Lord Is Here and it was. Rev. Royster will not be with us on Sunday, June 11th due to a prior engagement but our Associate Minister, Rev. Shirley Cates is ready and able to deliver the word of God. Jones Grove invites you to come visit us.
